Republican party in the past focused more on getting conservatives to the polls during presidential elections. Republican presidential candidate John McCain wants to make some change. He plans a wide-ranging campaign trying to gain more votes from blacks and Hispanics who are two traditionally strong Democratic blocs, and from independents and young voters who have been attracted to the Democratic campaigns this year.

WISH-TV reported that in Indianapolis on Tuesday, when campaigning for her mother Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate, Chelsea Clinton encountered a tough question: her take on her mother’s handling of the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

“Wow, you’re the first person actually that’s ever asked me that question in the, I don’t know, 70 college campuses that I’ve now been to and I do not think that’s any of your business,” Clinton responded.

The crowd at the student union at Butler University applauded.
