Euthanasia: Mercy or Not?

According to dictionary.com, euthanasia is defined as "the act of putting to death painlessly or allowing to die, as by withholding extreme medical measures, a person or animal suffering from an incurable, esp. a painful, disease or condition." Also, "painless death." Euthanasia is also known as "mercy killing." For individuals suffering with extreme pain from cancer, AIDS/HIV and other painful illnesses and diseases, euthanasia can be seen as a way out. However, according to religions and personal beliefs, euthanasia is a damnable choice.
Do you believe people have the right to end their life?
Is it justifiable?
Are there certain instances when death is the right choice?
